Brief Description:  Wiring

Today , it was the start of my permanent wiring. I made a slight change on my VPX as I group the XPDR & the ADSB. That left me a circuit for the cabin light.

The VPX update is not easy to undertand how to do. I had severals fails before I got it right. What I end up doing to get it right was to override the config with a new config file as if I was going back to the original config but used the new config. Sounds complicated and it isindeed a bit confusing .

Wiring is faily simple if you read and follow the instructions. it's mainly pins you attach to wires that goies in the terminals. I paid attention to the wire routing. As for the identification, data is already using colored wires, so, so far I made sure to ID properly the live wire (+) and the grounds (-) . All the others are already color coded and I did not see any benefits toID each data (RX/TX) pairs.

I was able to update the VPX, wire the ADSB & XPDR, wire the VPX and started on the NAV 2000 (LOC/ILS).

I look forward to next weekend.
