Brief Description:  Canopy, final drilling

Essentially , after reading a lot, I used to start the rear canopy, the suggestion made in the RVATOR and enlarged the holes with a unibit to 5/16" ... The only important thing here will be to use 5/8" OD washers for that #6 screw. Although the holes will not been seen through, I search the coefficient of expansion of the Plexiglass .

Here it is: Calculate the length change by temperature change:Coefficient [m/m/K] 75 *10-6 Length (mm):1000 Temperature Change (K): 20 C Length Change (mm): 1.50 mm

So it is quite minimal , hence the reason why in newere instruction the hole suggested diameter is only 5/32" , slightly larger than #6 schew diameter. Armed whith that, I used a 3 steps process to finish drillil my hole. I prepared 2 drill with proper diameter by rotating them counter-clockwise on my bench grinder until I had two pointy drill. then, I enlarged it to a #6 size and then to 5/32". Finally I made all the countersink holes to fit either a screw head or a metal dimple .
