I had many concerns with my canopy. When I bought that kit, the canopy had been travelling to 3 different spot and now it was travelling again. It had some paint on it, a few scratches and a fairly good crack in the rear end.
So needless to say that I was curious about the ability of saving it. First good news was the crack you see in picture one is out of play !
So I proceeded in trimming it and that went well. It's not finish but the fear I had because of all the readings I did , so far made me cautious but now I can relax a bit. As for the few scratches and paint drops still on it, I had bought for my cessna a kit to polish plexiglass. So I will practice on the remaining pieces to acquire the proper dexterity and will proceed in repairing the few spots here and there ...
So I am anxious in continuing because the canopy in my head is a milestone ....
