Finally received my compressor pump and I opened the old one to see what could have caused this vibration that led to the broken shaft. But everything was intact. So that part went to the recycling bin !
With the time left, I proceeded in installing the rudder cable fairing as suggested by a UK RV6 builder who was kind enough to share with me the problems of doing it later. So I made a small template and drilled it all out on both side.
