Brief Description:  Anti Servo Tab

Must have had my head on straight today. Everything went well. I did not flare the tube before I put the nut on....ok...old joke....there is no copper tube in the tab.
Prepared all the pieces and completed both units in 8 hours.

The instructions tell you to take the hinge apart and then cut the two parts so that there are eyelets on both ends....of both hinge halves. Why? I had to read later sections in the plans to understand why. Reading ahead got to be a habit...it helped tremendously in many situations.

I bragged too soon. Weeks later I tried a test fit of the "tab" to the stabilator. They fit nicely one at a time...but not at the same time. Not enough room...the arms hit each other. When riveting the arms to the ribs, I left a minute amount of space between the arm and rib. That 1/32 prevented me from makeing the assembly. I could have drilled the rivets and re-worked the arms, but decided to cheat and use a small rubber mallet to gain the 1/32 needed . Whats a small dimple here and there anyway?
