I choose the combined anti-collision and position light from Whelen, MBII ( microburst II). This is a light weight, low voltage, low current draw unit not needing an extra power supply. Also, hopefully this unit will also give less noise to the radio transmission. We'll see. The plastic wing tip will give you a match before it is in place between the outer nose skin and the tip skin. You need an assistant to drill the holes while you are pushing as hard as you can.
Now the right wing is ready to be transported to the hangar for storage. It is a big piece but very light and can easily be transported on the roof of a small car.
