Today was a major milestone. I finished installing the aft belly skin. It’s now a complete airplane! All the fiberglass parts were painted and ready to install. I adhered the anti-chafe tape on the cowling and installed all the hardware and piano hinges. The nose hinge was pretty tight after painting, but I figure it will get easier with time. The Wheel pants and gear fairings also got installed. After getting her all together it was time to celebrate by washing off all the dust. She’s looking pretty good now!
