A big day. Today I weighed the Sonex. It came in at 727 Lbs. I knew it would be over 700, but it was a little heavier than I wanted. I went to do the compass swing, but I noticed the previous owner installed the vertical card compass in the panel without a way to access the adjustment screws. I did manage to get the ADHARS compass calibration done and do a rough check on the magnetic compass. I ended up pulling out the compass and drilling 2 small holes to reach the adjustment screws. I did a little touch up paint. I finished out the day by calibrating the fuel level sender. It’s getting close!
