Brief Description: Tip rib installation and foam rib cut outs
Clecoed both tip rib assemblies in place. Riveted tip ribs to shear clips. Lifted skin using safety wire and a paint stir stick rig to allow access for tip rib attachment using pnuematic C squeezer. Riveted tip ribs to front spars. Closed up elevator skin and riveted skin from rear spar forward only. rivets aft of rear spar are left out until trailing edge wedge is installed later. Cut out 4 ea. trailing edge foam wedges from supplied foam blocks using template provided. Applied thin coat of fuel tank sealant to foam ribs and installed. Applied sealant to trailing edge wedges and installed with clecos. Placed elevators on flat workbench and weighted trailing edge with angle iron and wood board. Allowed to cure.
