Thigh supports are added under the seat pans to give extra strength. Triangles are cut from 3mm ply than they are fixed with 2” wide strips of bid cloth. The inboard ply is covered with 1 ply of bid all over. The supports separate the aileron torque tube from the side, which then make handy storage spaces.
