I had not fit a rib bracket for the outboard nose rib, so I made that, then attached the nose rib in alignment with the inboard rib. Made a paper skin template as the fuselage side tapers inward on the forward end. Made the mistake of assuming the bottom of the wing root was the same taper but it's not. It's livable but will correct for the left side. While the wing leading edge skin is .020, the root leading edge is .032 on the left side (for the wing walk) and can be .025 on the right. Oh, and I bob-sticked my first lightening hole on the 040 ribs!!! Not bad, but I have the Sonex flanging dies arriving this week for the bulk of the ribs.
