Got 80% of the riveting done on the right spar and ran out of rivets. Instead of buying pre-sized rivets, I bought long ones and cut them to size with the rivet cutter. Problem is I added up the weights on the material list and used that. But you get far fewer rivets per pound just buying the long ones so I was short a few hundred. 36 for this spar, 180 for the left and another 200 for the tip spars.
The good news, the problems I had with the center spar riveting did not occur on this part. First off, I inserted the rivets opposite and formed the shop head on the front side away from the angle leg. I also finessed how I hold the gun on the head to prevent slipping and off-center pressure. Every one came out great. New rivet supply should be here tuesday so I can finish.
