Brief Description:  Fitting the back seat

Fitting the back seat is very weird. Firstly we ligned up the brackets with the seat in position and fitted the side brackets; again using resin and Q-cell. We were supplied with two metal pipes which slide inside each other. The purpose of this pipe is to make up a Q-cell bond around each end of the pipe and work out where the back seat hinge will go. Once cured the pipe is removed and thrown in the bin. Now we know where the side hinges exactly go, we then made a permanant hinge with cloth and resin. The seat then needed some sanding back and presto we now have a seat that folds forward. Hence when you want to place items in the rear behind the seat you simply grab the lock bar behind the seat and pull the back seat forward.
