The floor board is eventually fixed to the side laminates. In the Blogs it has stated that in some situations the rear seat has collapsed onto the control cables. This could have serious consequences. Hence we put three different layers of side laminates to ensure a very strong and secure ledge. First fix we used two layers of cloth and let it cure. Second fix we also used two layers of cloth and let it cure. Third fix we used 3' DBM which is thicker and then let it cure. We then fixed 11 nut plates to the side laminates and bulk heads.
