In between finishing one wing and starting to close the skin on the other, it was decided that a change of scenery was needed. Tim was off gallivanting in the out back of Australia, for two weeks on a car rally and hence Darren decided to fix the doors. Firstly the reference lines were established and then the rubber door seals were installed. The join in the door seals was placed on the inside arc, which would have the least amount of stress. These installed with ease and a proffessional looking job was made easy, with a quality product. The door was then fit to the cutout and temporarily secured in place. The upper and lower hinges were then positioned and drilled and fitted.
