Brief Description: Finished FWD Z Tunnel & Began Fitting Fuse Side Pa
Tonight was fairly productive. I finished plans sheet F16 which had the FWD Z tunnel and bend in the lower FWD fusleage skin left to do.
After finishing F16, I was able to move some stuff around in the shop and begin plans sheet F11. It was pretty cool to actually fit the FWD side panels to the aft fuselage for the first time! Everything seems to line up correctly...so far. I clecoed in place the aft vertical edge of each side panel and then clamped the longerons to the aft fuselage splice plates.
I had to do quite a bit of shimming of my saw horses to be able to support the entire fuselage now. I think I'm going to build or buy a taller/adjustable saw horse to suppor the tail section. I want the fuselage as level as possible while working on it in the future.
