The shop is really starting to look like an airplane factory now.
Today I updrilled and deburred all the parts for the Aft Z Angle assembly. I was able to get the dimpling completed on the Z angle itself, but I still have to countersink all the holes on attaching parts. My C-Frame did not reach the holes for the vertical angles, so I had to use the simple dimple die on thoese areas. A note of caution, make sure you dimple the correct side of the Z angle! It would be very easy to turn this part around and dimple the outside instead.
When I first looked at the plans for this buildup, there I noticed that there was a gap on the outboard edges between the RH & LH shear plates and Z angle. No alarm though as other structure will fit in this space once installed in the forward fuselage.
