Brief Description: Top And Bottom Root Skins

Positioned the top root skin on centerline of the ribs. Drilled through the root skin top into each rib. Cut a 4 9/16"hole where the filler neck contacts the top root skin. Centered the scupper on the filler neck and drilled through the perimeter holes in the scupper into the root skin. Removed the scupper, the scupper will be installed after the wing is covered and painted. Deburred the top root skin and removed all shavings. Removed the anodizing on the trailing edge spar, roughed the 1/8" contact area of the root skins. Applied double stick tape to the top of the second rib and reinstalled the top skin. Riveted the top root skin to the root rib. Fitted and drilled the bottom root skin following the same procedure for the top. Centered the drain cover on the drain fitting, drilled and deburred parts.
