Roughly cut the fabric to cover the right side of the fuselage. Trimmed the fabric to its final size.
Here is a trick to get a sharp cut with no loose threads or ravels:
1 Draw a cut line with a pencil.
2 Coat the line with a thin coat of Poly-Tak cement.
3 When dry, cut with straight scissors.
There are more tricks listed in the Poly-Fiber manual.
Spend the rest of the afternoon trimming the fabric and attaching the fabric to the longerons using Poly-Tak cement.
Alex came by to give me a hand and to yoin me in the Poly-Tak vapor party. One should use a good respirator because it is not healthy to inhale these vapors for a length of time!
