Brief Description:  Sand fiberglass parts

The upper and lower cowl were removed from the aircraft. The plenum and onlet rings were also removed.

Screw holes at the rear of the plenum which also penetrate baffle seal material were opened up using a heated piano hinge wire t mel the baffle seal material.

Areas at the front of the cowl halves that were dressed with flox mixtture to improve fit were sanded.

Cowl halves, wheel pants, leg fairings and intersection fairings were sanded, firt with 120 grit and then 220 grit sandpaper.

Smooth Prime applied to one leg fairing and sanded. I used a narrow spatula for this but will try a dense sponge on other parts to see if that reduces sanding required. The Smooth Prime fills the pin holes in the fiberglass prior to spray priming
