The front cowl was removed to do a number of things.
The weatherhead "T" fitting was installed in the oil pressure manifold and then the oil pressure gague and the Hobb's switch were intalled onto the "T"
The attach hinge was riveted to the left upper cowl. This is the second try on this side.
The induction backplate installation was completed with screws installed and safety wired. Altenate air actuator was trimmed as needed to clear cowl. Induction body and filter installed.
The front of the cowl halves between the spinner and cooling air holes was prepared for creating the fiberglss tab. The cowl halves were attached using piano wire.
The oil door was cut to accept the latch. A new backing piece was cut. Backing piece was drilled to the cowl and the latch was drilled to the door.
