Brief Description: Rivet cowl hinges, rivet forward top skin, fit win
The morning was spent riveting the attach hinges to the top and bottom cowls.
I met helper Skip for lunch and afterwards he helped rivet the remainder of the forward top skin. I crammed myself into the footwell area to buck the shop heads while Skip used the rivet gun on the outside.
With the forward top skin complete and cooler weather ahead I made the first cut at fitting the windscreen to the fustelage. The plexigrass can get brittle and crack in cooler temperatures so today's and tomorrow's mid 70's is a good time to try to complete this work.
