Brief Description: Fit fuel pump covers, fit wings
Fitted the fuel pump covers and drilled the "doghouse" to the center panel and fuel valve cover.
Made final preparations for fitting of wings to fuselage. Wings were rolled out into the center of the hangar and the flaps were removed and stored. The fuselage was repositioned and the workshop tables rearranged to provide room.
Skip joined me after lunch and we fitted both wings to the fuselage. This turned out to be somewhat harder than I had hoped for but easier than I had feared. The right wing spar was really tight and took a lot of encouragement to get it in place to where a few of the bolts could be inserted. The left wing went in much easier, maybe just because we learned for the first one.
