Brief Description:  Engine mount, plumbings

Brake lines were fitted from the master cylinders to the parking brake valve.

The third try at the right fuel line met my expectations so now that is finally complete. My discard bin is full of previous attempts!

NACA ducts were fitted and drilled to the fusleage side skins.

Completed drilling of the engine mount to the firewall. This took a bit of time as the bolts are 3/8" and drilling through the stainless firewall, some aluminum angle and then steel weldments was a process of ever increasing drill and unibit sizes to finally get the correct hole.

Brake lines from the parking brake valve to the firewall fittings were fabricated and fitted. Only had to discard one of these!!

Vent and brake lines and fittings were removed and stored. Rudder pedals were removed and stored. Canopy frame was removed and stored. Canopy side tracks were removed and taken home for alodine. All of this to prepare for the painting of the cockpit area.
