Today I started disassembling the components forward of the aft fuselage for preparation for final assembly.
The baggage area longerons were removed, deburred and dimpled. The baggage area bulkheads were removed, deburred, dimpled and platenuts attached. Floor stiffeners were removed, deburred and countersunk. I completed drilling to size holes for the fuel vents in the forward bottom skin, then countersunk the holes for the 10 rivets on the forward bottom skin that are set double flush. Then the forward bottom skin was removed, deburred and dimpled.
Next I removed clecoes for the forward side skins to be able to pull them back enough to drill the gussets and auxillary longeron brace to the firewall angles.
