Today I laid out the holes for the rudder pedal bearing blocks. I wanted to drill multiple sets of holes so the pedals could be more easily adjusted for height/leg length. After laying it our on paper I marked the proposed locations on the plane and it looked like it would work. Before drilling I removed the pudder pedal brace, drilled rivet hole locations and lightening holes, then clamped it back to the firewall and match drilled to the firewall brace.
Staisfied with the layout I very carefully drilled the main longerons and brace for each position. All of the holes were adequately spaced. The rudder pedals were then removed and I installed the brack pedals to the left side.
