It took just two more tries today to properly fabricate the F-796B reinforcement angles. I am now sure why I was so daunted by these but I finally got them right. Once done I was able to drill the right side one to the fuselage. The left side will have to wat for the replacment parts from Van's, which ended up being at the house when I got home.
While waiting for the parts I moved on to the rudder and brake pedals. I assembled, drilled, deburred and riveted the brake pedal parts after fabricating the angle pieces required.
