Brief Description:  Aft and Center fuselage

Work continued on the aft fuselage with deburring and dimpling the side skins. I was unalbe to complete the dimpling as I need a replacement part for the pneumatic dimpler with is needed for the holes at the bottom of the side skins. Another detail was that I took the tailwheel mount and spring to a machine shop to have the bolt hole drilled, as this was something I was not comfortable doing myself.

With work on the aft fuselage stymied I moved on to prep work for the center fuselage. This is the portion of the fuselage under the seats and back to the baggage area. All seat ribs had flanges seamed using the device built for wing ribs. Then two of the ribs were modified to allow access for the control rods, and another two were modified for clearance reasons. Next all ribs were dimpled for and had platenuts attached, and all were drilled for wiring snap bushings.

With seat rib preparation complete I began initial assembly of the center fuselage section, by clecoing the seat and baggage ribs to the bulkheads. This assembly was then flipped over so I could begin celcoing on the bottom skin.
