Today I continued work on the firewall. I decided to remake one of the engine mount angles, as it was a bit too close to the bottom angle when I drilled it and I was not happy with the top hole to edge clearances, and also remade the fuel pump doubler, because the mounting holes were just a bit off. None of this may have been necessary but I feel better having done it.
I drilled the fuel pump and brake doublers to the firewall. With drilling completed I disassembled all items and deburred holes and smoothed edges witht eh Scothbrite wheel. All angle/doubler rivet holes which mate to the firewall were countersunk. Once parts were properly deburred and countersunk I primed them until I ran out of rattle-can primer. I brought the parts home and bought some more primer, then completed the priming at home.
