I continued work on the HS spar SB today. The spar doublers were riveted in place and the main and nose ribs also riveted. A row of rivets for the doublers was creating significant interference with the rib flange angle so I called Van's Tech Support and they suggested I use a space. Problem solved! I fabricated spaces from a piece of discardes spar and it seemed to work fine. The HS is now ready to have the skins riveted back to the ribs, and then this Service Bulletin will be complete!! Not the most pleasant of tasks but will be good to have done before first flight.
