Brief Description:  Fuel Pump cover, Parking brake, Fuel lines and ven

Completed the fuel pump cover and assembled the top to the sides.

Fabricated a new parking brake mount. I determined I could make a much simpler instalation by removing and rotating the actuator arm 90 degress and mounting the valve vertically. Mount was drilled to firewaal and bot components were deburred and dimpled. I still need to add nutplates to the mount.

I started work on funning the fuel and vent lines in the fuselage. I have sort of been dreading this task. I started with the vent line on the right side. Fittings as the side and bottom were installed. I first made a template of the tubing run using 12 gage wire. This was a big help in bending the tubing as most all bends could be put in the tubing before installation. The tubing was bent to shape and installed, then bends were tweaked as needed This is made of 1/4" soft aluminum tubing so is pretty easy to work with.

Next I ran the fuel lines from the fuel valve to the outside of the fuselage. These were a great deal more difficult. They ise 3/8" tubing which is a good bit harder to bend, and the nature of the run requireds that most of it be bent as you go, with a lot of bending and unbending required to accomplish the run. I did get both sides installed, and am a bit happier with the second run than the first. I may decide to replace the first run I made.
