With my fresh quarter pound of -4 length rivets from Aircraft Spruce & Specialty I was able to complete the riveting on the bottom skins on the right wing. After completing the riveting I installed the flap. This essentially completes both wings until much later in the project, when I will take on the fiberglass wingtips.
After completing the riveting I took the Decathlon out for some exercise, flying up to Danville and then back.
After lunch I began wok on getting the hangar ready for the fuselage kit delivery. First to deal with were the crates that the wing kit was delivered in. I took the long, narrow crate for the spars and cut it into sections which I then nailed into the larger crate, and voila, I have some new shelves!! The rest of the crates were cut up for disposal.
Then I rearranged the hangar and moved the wings and empennage parts to an area behind the wing of the Decathlon and out of the work area. I still have a bit more tidying up to do but should be in good shape for delivery of the fuselage kit in a few weeks.
