Brief Description:  Aileron stops, wiring, bottom skin

I resumed work on the wings today. Over the weekend the VAF forum helped me understand the aileron stop questions I had. I stopped by Lowe's and got the nylon spacers I needed to fabricate the stops. Once these were installed I checked and they appear to provide a stop at about 30 degrees of up travel, so that is good. Once done with this I was comfortable with wire and tubing routing that it would not interfere with the movement of the aileron belcrank. I fabricated a brace from agle which I riveted between ribs in the aoutopilot servo bay and plan to use this to wire tie the wiring connectors to. This was the best way I could figure to make sure they stayed out of the way.

I also used a tap to transform an piece of 5/16" tubing into an extension shaft for my #40 countersink. I needed tis to countersink the bottom hole in the inboard aileron bracket. Worked perfectly!!!! After countersinking I set these rivets in each wing.

Next I moved on the the bottom skins, and began riveting the inboard skin on the left wing. It is hard riveting as it is difficult to get a hand and the bucking bar inside, especialy up at the main spar. I am trying this in the wing cradles, but will move to tabletop if it proves too hard.
