I completed riveting the right flap. The inboard rib was riveted to the skins, then the reinforcement plate was riveted to the angle. Next the skin was riveted to the main spar along the top, and next along the bottom which included riveting the hinge. last the outermost rib was riveted to the skins.
With the right flap cpomplete I moved along to the left flap, and prepared all parts by deburring holes and edges then dimpling the skins and ribs. I also drilled for the reinforcement plate rivets. I did botch one dimple but think I can enlarge the hole and use the next size rivet and be fine.
