Brief Description:  Tank pressure test, wing wiring, flaps

The forst order of the day was to do the pressure test on the tanks. I did the left one first, still mounted to the wing. Unfortunately, it would not hold pressure even after I assured that the temporary fittings over the vent, fuel and drain fittings were secure. I removed the tank and placed it in the cradle for further tests. Using soapy water and pressurizing the tank I identified two spots at the top of the tank at the rear baffle that were leaking. RATS!!!! I gave the area a good cleaing with MEK and after a trip to the auto parts store for some Locktite #290 I am trying that first. I put the tank in the sun to heat it, then brought it inside and taped off all the vents so hopefully as it cooled it would pull the Locktite into the leak. The #290 is a penetrating version and it wicked nicely into the seam. I will test again tomorrow after it has cured. The right tank held pressure so I am keeping my fingers crossed it is good!!

I also completed running the wires in the left wing, then went back to flaps. I deburred, countersunk and dimpled all components for the right flap, so it is ready for final assembly. I also deburred the hinge for the left flap.
