I began the session by partially disassembling the leading edge to attempt to deal with a ding I discovered in the skin. I removed the rib nearest the ding and then removed all the clecoes on the top side. This allowed me to get the skin onto the dimpler and by using flat flush head dies for the squeezer in the dimpler was able to flatten out most of the ding. It is much less pronounced than before.
Once done with that I reassembled with clecos and then began the riveting procees. First the row of rivets nearest the back were set with the pneumatic squeezer, then I moved on the the other rows using the mushroom set on the rivet gun and a bucking bar for the back side. I got about half the leading edge rivets set before the call of the pretty day forced me to spent some time with the Decathlon. It needed some attention after having gone quite a while since being flown.
