Tonight I learned in a very profound way why it takes so long to build an airplane. After another 3 hours of work (in addition to the 1.5 on Monday) I now have the tie down channels and spacers cut, drilled, countersunk, deburred and edges rounded and ready for alodine. What a process!! This also included tapping the threads inside the channel about 1" in, a process that took nearly an hour itself for the 2 channels. So it is not much to look at but a lot of work and sweat invested.
