Brief Description:  Elevator leading edges

Tonight I completed the elevator leading edges. I finished riveting the left elevator, then rolled and riveted the right elevator. I did become better at taping the pipe to the skin, and somewhat better at the actual rolling, having gotten my best result on the final (right) elevator. That said, this was still the most difficult and tedious part of the project so far. I kept imagining a nice hydraulic press with curved forms that one could put the elevator into and which would perfectly form the curve in the skins.....

After cleaing up the work area I laid out the horizontal stabilizer and elevators in their respctive positions. Next step with be connecting them and drilling the tow elevators together.

It is starting to look like an airplane part!!!
