In addition to receiving the wing kits I gopt a good afternoon of work in on the left elevator. Elevator skin and counterbalance skins were dimpled. A number of skeleton parts were countersunk. The skeleton was assembled and riveted, including spar, ribs, reinforcement plates and nutplates. The trim cutout end was shaped, which was a bit of a job, as it required cutting some bending blocks, taping one inside the skin, clamping the whole mess together and then bending the tabs down using a variety of tools. I should be ready to assemble and rivet the left elevator in my next session, then will just have the trim tab and hinge installation to complete.
