Brief Description:  Rivet main spar and left HS

Deburred, dimpled and cleaned edges of front spars. Dimpled left HS skin. Riveted front spar and reinforcements and 404 and 405 ribs. Riveted nose rib 706 to skin. Used standard rivets on top and bottoms, ans there was pleanty of room to hold the bucking bar. Inserted skeleton and riveted to nose rib using pull rivets. Completed riveting skin to front spar and center ribs 706 and 707. Dimples in skin were well formed and perfect depth using DRDT-2 dimpler. It took a bit of learning to figure out how to best postion the work to hold the rivet gun on the skin side and the bucking bar on the inside. Thin arms and hands a definite advantage for this. Overall I did pretty well, but did mark the top skin in a few places when the gun got out of square with the skin. Hopefully the paint job will eventually cover that up. A good day's work and I am pleased with my progress. The tungsten bucking bar really does make the rivets melt like butter. I am really pleased with that upgrade.
