Brief Description: Make a Cutout in the Root Rib for the Fuel Gauge M
Took new imprint of fuel gauge mounting flange on modeling clay using lubricating oil this time to prevent the clay from adhering too much to either surface. Took an awl and clicked it four times around the edges of the area where the fuel gauge mounting flange imprint was left. Used those awl marks to create four points, then measured 1/4" from those points inward and drilled 1/2"-diameter holes on those points using a Unibit. Cut these holes and connected them to create a square hole with rounded edges, then sanded it down to leave a smooth finish and to allow the flange to pass through.
