Brief Description:  Creating jack point/step part 2

Creating jack point/step, day 2. Still figuring out why the brakes are locking. Called Matco to see what the problem is and we seem to have isolated the problem. There is a 1/8 inch bypass zone of the final extension of each ram. If the pedal is too tight, it won't allow the pedals to fully extend and will not allow the telescope to extend on the ram. Therefore, it will not allow the fluid to return to the reservoir, and locks up the brakes. We have to take each ram off and make sure it's extended all the way. Air in the lines is also a problem. We have to bleed the brakes in reverse, as opposed to automobile brakes. Usually you let gravity take effect and the brakes bleed that way on cars. With airplanes, it is the opposite. We will use an oil pump gun to do this.

Inspected brakes around 2:15 PM and discovered that the brakes were not extending all the way. Need to grind down pedals about 1/16 of an inch.
