Brief Description: Final prep and priming of Landing gear fairings &
Original priming revealed dozens and dozens of pinholes in the fiberglass that the epoxy primer wouldn't fill. So, I applied a coat of epoxy thinned with acetone which didn't seem to help much. Then I went ahead and used epoxy with micro-filler which worked but required a lot of resanding. Thank goodness I had recently purchased a palm orbital sander. That saved a ton of hours from hand sanding. Following sanding, I rinsed and acetone wiped all the parts before repriming with the PPG DP50LV04 2-part epoxy primer. The same primer I used on the inside of the aft fuselage.
