Brief Description: Fuel pickup safety service bulletin
Completed the compliance actions for this mandatory Service Bulletin. I used a borescope and vacuum to make sure I removed all tank sealant debris that entered the tanks. On the left tank I had previously removed the old gasket and sealant mechanically, which was very labor intensive. For the right tank, I purchased some of the polysulfide gel that Vans sells to soften the ProSeal. Worked like a charm. Re-sealed the tanks using the caulk gun cartridge version of ProSeal. If I ever make another set of fuel tanks, that's the form of ProSeal I'll use.
