Brief Description: Left wingtip epoxy and tip lens install
Mixed up some epoxy and microbeads and applied to the tip seam to smooth out the gap. I will sand it tomorrow.
Cut the VA-172 tip lens in half and then iteratively trimmed it and sanded it down until it fit the tip recess. Match-drilled and countersunk the retaining screw holes. Not sure if I'll install tinnerman washers...seems unnecessary. Will install nut plates next.
