Brief Description: Left Wing Top Skin Prep and Mount
(1) Dimpled inner and outer skins using C-frame. (2) Removed vinyl from inner surface of all three pieces. (3) Cleaned and then dressed edges and scratches w/ Allodine pen (4) Set up fishing line to measure spar sag and hung from each end of the main spar plumb bobs made from fishing line and lead sinkers to measure wing twist. Found 1/2" of wing twist in the spar which I removed by adjusting the nut-bolt coupling attached to the wingtip support bracket. (5) Clecoed the top, inner skin and stiffener plate to the wing skeleton. (6) Received pitot-static system plumbing and pitot mast from Safe-Air, Inc today. Inspected the contents and reviewed pitot-mast installation instructions. Should be easiest to precut the mounting holes prior to bottom skin installation.
