Brief Description:  Fuel Tank Assembly

Now is a good time to apply a filet of sealant to the fuel tank cap flange and especially the bottom tank stiffeners. Once the tank ribs are in place, applying sealant around those parts will be far more challenging due to limited access.

As a note, each 20cc syringe allows for a 30g batch of sealant. Filling a syringe (using a popsicle stick) is a bit awkward at first but you get the hang of it after a few batches. The first try make you feel like digging snots in your nose wearing a boxing glove … Also, I once tried to fill a syringe with 40g but that volume would barely fit in the tube and I ended up crating a mess so 30g is the key number here.
