Then, I transferred the shapes from the cardboard model to a small piece of aluminum that I have trimmed to resemble the most to its model. The fit is quite good on the right side of the bulb bracket but the part is a tad too long on the left side so it doesn’t sits flat on the rib web. To correct that, I’ll make another one about 1/8 th of an inch shorter.
Once I’m done with the fit on the right wing, I’ll reproduce a set for the left wing. If everything works as planned, the fit should be quite similar. Then I’ll make parts using 0.040 inch aviation grade aluminum for final assembly.

The overall look will improve once the parts are polished.
