Brief Description: Leading edges parts preparation - Landing li
Once polishing was done, I've clecoed the parts together to see how things turn out. It looks okay but I really don’t like the overall look within the landing light bay. It looks unfinished. You can see the lightning holes, the ribs, the wires. So what I have in mind is to install side walls made from aluminum plates shaped to fit around the bulb bracket in order to act as a reflector. But before I start modifying the bracket, I wanted to know what kind of hardware I am to expect to install. I’ve written to Van’s support and their answer is disappointing. Apparently they are not done yet on the final light assembly. Wow. That wing sub-kit is out for more than a year now and they haven’t decided how to finish that. Surprising… I’ll check with the guys on VAF to see what they’ve done.
