Brief Description:  Unpacking for inventory

Now that we're back from Oshkosh, inventory has begun.

Undertaking the parts inventory is a no-brainer but one must admit that management of several "very fragile" aluminum parts isn't a small task. Especially the skins lying at the bottom of the crate. Besides, spreading over the numerous parts occupy most of the shop floor and table/shelves around. I think that protecting the skins until they are ready to install will require a lot of precaution.

A note here, I trust that Van's went to great length to organize the packaging so the kits can travel great distances without taking any damage. However, they use some sort of HEAVY DUTY duct tape that is so sticky, you have to take great care to avoid bending a corner of a skin or else. Using a knife is scary because you can easily scratch or gouge the fragile aluminum. Better be patient and pull gently the tape off with your nails. Nail biters may have a problem here
